Introduction
In every corner of Sierra Leone, there are hardworking men and women whose contributions keep our communities alive—teachers in small village schools, nurses caring for the sick, farmers feeding the nation, artisans building homes, market women trading daily, and casual laborers offering their strength and skills. These individuals form the backbone of our economy, yet many of them remain unseen in the eyes of financial systems.
The truth is simple but painful: if you’re not on the government payroll, you are often left out.
The Initiative for Non-Pin Coders (INOP) was created to change that.
INOP is a homegrown Sierra Leonean initiative dedicated to supporting workers who have no access to formal financial benefits. Founded by Mr. Lamin Alie, Mr. Abdul Kabia, and inspired by the vision of Hon. Mohamed Omodu Kamara (Jagaban), the organization stands as a bridge for those who have been excluded for far too long.
Why INOP Matters
Across the country, thousands of workers face the same challenges:
INOP steps into this gap with compassion and innovation. We provide financial assistance, practical skills training, and digital inclusion programs that open doors for the underserved. Our mission is not only to help people survive, but to empower them to grow.
Building Inclusion, One Worker at a Time
Every support we offer—no matter how small—makes a powerful impact. A nurse can transport herself to work. A farmer can buy seeds. A market woman can restock her goods. A young artisan can improve his tools. A casual laborer can feed his family during tough times.
This is the heart of INOP: lifting people up so they can stand strong.
A Future Where No Worker Is Left Behind
Our vision is bold but achievable—a Sierra Leone where every worker, regardless of payroll status, has equal access to financial opportunities. A nation where dignity and development belong to everyone, not just a few.
As we continue to grow, INOP invites partners, supporters, and community champions to join us. Together, we can build a Sierra Leone that is more inclusive, more resilient, and more hopeful.
